Through the Seo Valley deep into the shadows of Mt. Chomolhari 7314m, Mt. Jitchu Drake 7000m and over Nele La Pass 4250m into Lingshi Valley

The inhabitants of these tow valleys are nomads subsisting almost entirely on the produce and products of sheep and yaks. The many lakes in Seo Valley are every anglers wildest dream come true. At Lingshi is picturesque remnant of a once migltly border fortrees is now the residences of the valley admininstrator. From his hill a day's trek is all it takdes to cross over the plateau of Tibet

Heading East over the 3 high passes of Gobuala 4650m, jarila 4600m and Shinjela 4900m lies the valley of Laya. Herds of the rare Tarkin can be seen enroute to Tashi Jathang valley. Laya lies in the Masakhang mountain region which is the source of the Mo Chu flowing through Punakaha. The inhabitants of Laya s an ethnic group , are quite different form the rest of the Bhutanese people. Like the people so Seo and Lingshi they too are nomads. Along the way to Punakah, the old capital, lies historic Gasa fort and the famous popular hot sping in Gasa.

Climate (General):
Days are normally warm. Nights can at times be cold and in winter even below the freezing point. Monsoons shower in summer (heaviest July & August) and sometimes even in spring and autumn.
What to Bring:
Strong and comfortable trekking boots, sunglasses, a lot of spare vests and socks, headgear raincoat & warm clothing for the evenings.
Recommendations:
Moderate fitness is required. Few weeks training is advised.

The above rates are applicable per tourist per night halt in Bhutan. The rate can be higher depending upon the nature of services desired beyond the set of entitlements.



On the day of departure from Bhutan, our obligation shall be limited to breakfast only and any extra requirement shall be payable on actual basis.

In order to secure Druk-Air tickets to and from Bhutan and good hotels, tour payment must be made 2 months prior to the date of arrival in Bhutan. Visa is cleared by the government only after the receipt of full tour payment. Without visa, Druk-Air will not issue tickets.
