Booking & visa :

Ghale Treks & Tours require Minimum of 2 weeks in advance, a firm booking along with full passport details (full name, sex, nationality, passport number, date of birth and profession) should reach us. Ghale Treks & Tours arrange for Tibet/china visa. Group visa for Tibet in one day & three days require usd 20 & US $ 15 respectively as an urgent fee on top of the usual visa fee. The usual visa fee for all nationals is usd 45 each which takes 1 week processing.

For Tibet visa, a group of minimum of 5 pax is a must for the private tour. However, if the tour is on group joining basis, we accept even one pax.

Visa obtained from the chinese embassy from your home country has no guarantee for the entry into Tibet from nepal. So, to avoid this hassle, we recommend that visa for Tibet should be obtained from us, which we in turn will get it from the Chinese embassy in kathmandu/nepal.

Payment procedure :

To book you on definite basis, we shall need 50% advance payment of tour and 100% of ticket amount.
the due amount of tour should be clear befor tour departure.


Cancellation :

50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fee if you cancel the tour within 7 days prior to the start of the tour. No refund, thereafter, also for no shows, delay arrivals or whatsoever reason. There is a separate rule for air tickets for the sector kathmandu/Lhasa/kathmandu. Air tickets are issued on first come first serve basis. Old bookings are not honoured by the Chinese airlines. This way, to avoid this hassle, we require the green signal to get the tickets issued well in advance with an 100% advance payments for the full tour amount required at least 3-4 weeks. Also importantly, once the air tickets are issued, they are non-refundable, non-reroutable and non-transferable. So, in brief, in case of the cancellation of the tour, there shall be no refund against the air tickets.

Risk & liability :

Ghale Treks & Tours put our all efforts towards making your journey smooth and pleasant. However, as all Tibet tour are run strictly under Tibet tourism authority, we or our agents shall not be responsible for any change or cancellation of programs due to unavoidable circumstances such as road blockade, flood, snow, unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival of clients, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles. Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot. It is most advisable that clients to have full insurance against medical and personal accident risks. A cancellation insurance is also most recommended.
