

The Kathmandu valley is one of the main historical, archeological, political and cultural hub of the beautiful landlocked country Nepal. It is the main gateway for the visitors. It contains three major cities Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur situated at an altitude of 1336 meter above sea level, the Kathmandu valley covers an area of 218 sq. miles, each town is popular for it’s mythological and historically attached temples, stupa’s, elegant palaces and beautiful courtyards.
Nepal has many attractions to offer for a sightseeing. The nostalgic view of tiny Himalayas’, natural, cultural, historical, traditional, art and architecture, Hindu temples, Buddhist stupas and monasteries and different communities with their own language, social norms and values, mythological facts which all are bound together in one chain of love.
There are seven UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley.
They all lies in Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur and they are as follows.
