What's the difference between a Small Group Trip and a Custom Journey?
A Small Group Trip has an established itinerary with a set price and departure dates. You join in, and are led by a Tour Leader and local guides. A Custom Journey is created from scratch by you and your Trip Coordinator. Together you determine dates, destinations and length of stay. These are private departures, and other travelers will not join in on your itinerary. A local guide and driver will accompany you on a Custom Journey.
When is best time of year to visit Asia?
The answer varies per destination. Please visit the Destinations area of our web site, which has country-specific weather information. Each destination has a private page with a weather section that will give you detailed information specific to that particular destination. Other factors you may want to take into account, such as festivals or low visitor numbers, are also detailed in these pages.
I'm not ready to make a reservation. Can Ghale Treks & Tours hold a space for me?
We cannot guarantee space until we receive your deposit, therefore please send it in as soon as you decide your travel plans.
What happens if I have to cancel my trip?
In the event you cancel the treks or Tours the following charges will be made:
*More than 90 days in advance*: 25% in total Cost.
*Less than 45 days in advance*: 50% in total Cost.
*On or after the starting date*: no refund will be made.
*Based on your scheduled arrival date in travel coutry.

How far in advance should I reserve my space?
It is difficult to secure rates and reservations more than 3 months out from departure date, particularly for flights. Having said that, reserving space as early as possible (10-11 months out) does ensure greater options and flexibility.
Do you offer traveler's insurance protection?
No, It is a condition while booking a treks and tours with Ghale Treks & Tours that travelers/trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and lost of items, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects.
Is tap water safe to drink in south asia?
We urge people to drink only bottled water, also use bottled water to clean teeth. Many shops and stalls sell bottled water, as do hotels and restaurants, though it is cheaper to stock-up with bottles bought at shops/stalls. Make sure seals on water bottles are unbroken.
Can children travel on your trips? If so, what age?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome on any Custom Journey. The countries in our region are ideal family destinations and very suitable for children of all ages. Our Small Group Trips, being intensely cultural in focus, are unsuitable for children under 16.
How much money should I bring?
The answer to this question it will be depend on your trip and destination, if you please inquire us while you willing to travel our destination we will fordward you itinerary and cost details with in 24 hours after received your mail.
