Embark on an exhilarating multi-day tour from Kathmandu, combining both trekking and sightseeing experiences. Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu Arrival

Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and given a comprehensive briefing about your tour itinerary. Following this, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. Please note that meals are not included in this package; however, accommodation will be provided at the hotel.

Day 2Flight to Lukla

You will take a flight to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding, which will take approximately three hours. You will spend the night in a guesthouse. Meals included in this package are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with accommodation provided at a lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 3Trek to Namche Bazaar (5.30 hrs)

You will embark on a trek to Namche Bazaar, known as the “Gateway to Everest,” which will take just over five hours. You will spend the night at a guesthouse. The package includes meals consisting of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with your accommodation provided at a lodge for the overnight stay.

Day 4Trek to Phorste Thanga (5 hrs)

After breakfast, you will trek to Phorste Thanga, which will take approximately five hours. The route ascends steeply out of the valley, passing through rhododendron forests, juniper, large conifers, and settlements known as Yak Kharkas. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of Khumbi La and Tawache. You’ll spend the night at a guesthouse, with meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and accommodation provided at a lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 5Trek to Machherma (5 hrs)

After breakfast, you will climb up the ridge towards Kengtega and then head up towards Cho Oyu, before descending to a river and ascending steeply to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpz glacier. You should arrive in Machherma by early noon. For the night, you will stay at a guesthouse, with meals provided that include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and your accommodation arranged at a lodge for the overnight stay.

Day 6Trek to Gokyo (5.30 hrs)

After breakfast, you will trek towards Gokyo, where you will establish your base camp for the next three nights, serving as a starting point for trips to the surrounding areas. You will stay overnight at a guesthouse, with meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided, and accommodation arranged at a lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 7Trek to Gokyo Ri (5 hrs)

After breakfast, you will prepare for a steep climb to the summit of Gokyo Ri (5483 meters), where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Gokyo Valley, the expansive Ngozumpa Glacier, and a stunning panoramic vista of the entire Khumbu Himalayas, including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, and Gychung Kang. After enjoying the views, you will return to base camp for the night, with meals provided (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and accommodation arranged at a lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 8Trek to Dole (6 hrs)

After breakfast, you will descend to Dole, where you will spend the night at a guest house. Meals will be provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with accommodation arranged at a lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 9Trek to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung village (5 hrs)

After breakfast, you will descend to Namche Bazaar, passing through the traditional Sherpa village of Khumjung. Leaving the mountains behind, you will return to the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar (3441 meters), where you’ll enjoy an overnight stay at a guest house. Meals provided include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with accommodations arranged at a lodge for the night.

Day 10Trek to Lukla (6 hrs)

After breakfast, you will return to Lukla, where you can take some time to reflect on your trekking experience. You will spend the night at a guest house, with meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and accommodation provided at a lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 11Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will take a half-hour flight to Kathmandu, allowing you to enjoy stunning aerial views of the mountains you visited during your trek. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel, with breakfast included in your meals.

Day 12Departure from Kathmandu

You will be transferred to the Kathmandu airport for your departure, with breakfast included in your meals; please note that accommodation is not included for this night.
